Hi Rachel,

Great to meet with you this morning at the chicken class! I am sorry we had to leave early but the girls were getting restless, and a bit noisy too!

Anyway, do you need a minimum of half an acre in Pheonix to keep ANYy number of chickens, or just twenty? If you had less space could you keep a fewer number like three to four?

Thank you again.

Michelle.

Holy cow - I just checked out your art site. Absolutley incredible. You have so much dedication to the things you work on - your art and your farm show such thoughfulness and determination - and it shows in the results. Good for you.

Aden's gave us one non-organic bag. Does the tag on the bottom of your bag say organic? We paid for the organic and will be picking up the exchange bags today. If your bag was also not organic I can exchange with you on Saturday.

Hi Rachel - love your blog!

Jitterbug looks like a baby starling to me. (or some type of bird in that family). They have the long beaks and irridecent plummage.

Hi Rachel - was wondering if you'd be interested in blogging some of your projects here? Let me know (check out what Myron's doing) - Jen

Sounds great, Rachel! I'm not computerese-fluent enough to know what a listserve is? But, if it's something I'd see pop up on this site or the Yahoo group site, that's great for me. After the composting class several weeks ago, I had asked Jay about local organic chicken food and he did mention something about Myron trying to coordinate something, as you said here. So, I will keep my eye out. I'm definitely interested in participating. You all are pretty much "on the way" to the feed place, from where I live. Along the same vein, do you all ever coordinate a compost drive over to Mr. Singh's? I am truckless, but I'd gladly kick in for gas in such a case.
Rachel, I hope all you Pierson Street folks have a wonderful week!
Jane
Thank you Rachel
