Looking for a dark colored hen
1 Reply

I had a dog attack my hens. One speckled hen survived. She is lonely in her newly re-enforced coop. Do you have a dark colored hen that you can spare? I will pay you a fair price. 623-734-5097Continue

Profile Information

About Me:
I have had the pleasure of doing a lot of different things in my life. After graduating from Boston University, I had the opportunity to travel from Rome to Katmandu overland. This was a life changing experience. I learned firsthand how much we waste in our daily life. To give you an example, in Afghanistan they take apart old tires and make shoes out of them. You never see a tin can or a paper wrapper. Who says they are a backward country?
I have worked as a social worker, own a photography studio, managed a Circle K, school bus driver and dispatcher, and a special education teacher.
I have traveled near and far to six continents but now I am enjoying gardening.
I have always been interested in growing things. Even as a child I had a toy farm with little plastic crops. Recently I adopted a chicken and a rooster. I was so inspired I got 5 more Speckled Sussex chickens. I love to share information and would love teach permaculture.

Oh No!!! You almost want to believe that it was a coyote, as that would be more forgiveable than neighbor letting their dogs run amok causing havoc.

Hi Walt! I enjoyed looking over your photo album. It's always interesting to see what other home farmers are doing and trying. Are you raising any animals? or just the garden?
