Beet Lovers UNITE!!!!

I adore beets. Freshly cooked and sprinkled with rice Vinegar.MMMM MMMM Good. Did not know there was a beet haters society out there. I have not grown them yet.

I use them in soups. I haven't roasted them yet but when I harvest I will be trying that. Where do you get your Tincture??

I have put them in soupd instead of potatoes and used them mashed they are very good

I do not grow them, however they are wonderful for elevated cholesterol levels. I do take J. Artichoke tincture. Do you roast them or ?? I have only eaten them raw.

Jerusalem Arthichoke (sunchoke)

So, While I now know that it is the wrong planting season for jerusalem artichokes I put some in an area of my very small garden last month to see how they would grow. And they are starting to POP up. Does anyone grow these? I started cooking with them last year and love them.
