Right at this moment I am in Tempe and I will be moving up to my partners ranch in cave creek this month. We are creating a spiritual sustainable space and community founded on living in our hearts and presence with each other the earth and the natural world. I am excited about creating a garden again and am really looking forward to it.

Hi Jenn
So nice to hear from you /I just got this e-mail right this second as I have been back to my motherland In Ireland for the past 2 months . It was wonderful lots of quality time with my family and I got to meet my little niece who was born june 26th on my birthday Shae was a joy to be with and her little sister who is 2 years old too . i am her godmother and got to do some cranio sacral on the baby and she just loved to be sung to . It calmed her right down and she became really happy and content.I am only back a few days so still adjusting . The clan mother gathering sounds really interesting and I love to drink tea . i wonder if it is the same class my friend Melissa was telling me about on Bell and the 51 . or is it the little tea house on 7th st . ?

Hi Jenn! Thank you for the offer, it sounds like a great deal. I wish I could accept it. I have a new start-up business and to get it profitable I need to direct my time there. Thank you for thinking of me!

yes from any hardware store get the 1/2 inch to whatever you need (me 3/4inch ) and also get a quick disconnect adaptor so you can change the filter in one year.

I saw that you RSVP'd as a possible attendee for Sunday's Citrus Gleaning, as did I. Currently, Tatiana is sick, and I'm waiting for the results of her strep culture, so she's out of school (consequently, I'm out of work) for what looks like the rest of the week. Not that I couldn't use the break, but my paycheck is going to suffer. :P That's life.... Anyway, if we're feeling better, we hope to see you there. :)
As for my school garden, I managed to get the Tomato plants planted, but still need to plant the others. Have to find some time to go in and do that this week - the seedlings will wait no longer. :(
And, I'm trying to plan a seed ball making class for kids for the Glendale Green Fest on the 28th, which would be an adjunct to the PDC booth that would already be there. My only obstacle is financial. I'm hoping I can bake and sell cupcakes as a fundraiser. I think I could sell 85 cupcakes at $1 each. What do you think? Other ideas?
Hi Jennifer- i wasnt able to read your comment for some reason... if you are interested in the garden, i'd love for you to stop by some Sunday when we are out working... this Saturday, for Art Detour we will also be there with children activities in the garden too! I'm having a major shift in the way im going about the garden suddenly. Originally, i naively thought that some quick raised beds would be sufficient, now permaculture is on my brain and im pretty much starting all over....bringing in manure all this week! will soon plant grains so hopefully next year we'll really be ready!
How's it going? Life is treating me well. I found myself digging a lot of holes over the weekend. Seems like I have some strange fascination with digging and playing in the dirt. Must have something to do with my childhood. Other than that, I attended a little bit of Local to Global and sat in on the AZHS Steering Committee meeting. So it was a great weekend. How about you? How did you spend the last couple of days?
Lylah - likewise to you and Michael - I feel connected through our tweets and on this site - one day we will meet in a class! Another hands-on Herb Planting class is coming in 2010!
Happy holidays and a peace-filled new year to all.
Doreen
