There's a house down the street from me that's currently unoccupied, and has a huge prickly pear in the front yard.

This looks fabulous (and the margarita doesn't look half bad either yum)... where did you harvest the prickly pear fruits from?

Indeed. Combined with tequila, it is quite magical.

For a little less magic, it's also nice combined with some tonic water, on the rocks. Prickly Pear soda!

Deeper than a pot called a 'bowl' which is too shallow for the roots when it gets hot. If you choose one that is about 15" across it will be deep enough as long as it is not a 'bowl'. Hope this helps.
