FAQs

How do I register for a class?

First, you must be a member of this website, and signed in.

Second, go the event, or class. Near the right hand side, right above the area marked “Attending” is the RSVP box. There will be three options to choose from: Will attend, Might attend, and Will not attend. Select your RSVP option of choice. By selecting “Will attend” you reserve your spot for the class and handouts.

Can I register a friend/spouse/co-worker for a class?

Yes, but we prefer people to become members of the site so that they can take advantage of what this site has to offer.

To register another person as a “guest” you must first RSVP for the event, then please add how many guests you are bringing in the “Comment Wall” area that is just below the event description.

What if I can’t attend a class I have signed up for?

Things happen and plans can change. All we ask is that you change your RSVP for that specific class. To do this, Sign in, go to the event/class, and in the RSVP box area select “Change RSVP” and then select “Will not attend” and that’s it!

How do I join a “Group?”

First, you must be a member of this website, and signed in.

Then, select your “Group” of choice. Most of our Groups are open for anyone to join. Some are by invitation or approval only, and will require approval by that Group’s Administrator.

For “open to everyone” Groups, near the top right hand side, just above all the little photos of current members of the Group, there is a (+) symbol and the words: Join (Group name) Click this and you join that Group.

For Groups with managed membership, there will be a yellow box at the top of the page that says: Members must be approved (Group name) is accepting new members. If you would like to join, click here to request access from the Group Creator. Because they are managed, you will NOT automatically be a part of that Group as it needs to go through the approval process.

Diane, Ken is just east of the 101 on Thomas Rd. We have a short bed truck and it cost us $40, a full size bed is $60, don't know how much he would charge for your flatbed.

I think beets and turnips are just about the perfect vegs, great tops and the bonus is the bulbs. I'm growing Golden and Cylindra this year and love being able to pick the greens for weeks before the beets are ready. I also roast them, just toss i...

I've never seen ants do that kind of damage, how bizarre. You can cover the tomatoes when frost threatens and maybe they will survive. Good luck and good pics.

Sorry Janine, the bees are spoken for already. I really with I could keep them, I've never had so many bees on my squash blossoms before and would be great for the squash and melons next year but just not enough room.
