How to post to this group:
--To start a NEW discussion - click on the link at the bottom of the Discussion Forum box that says "Start Discussion" (it has a green "+" next to it)
--To RESPOND to an existing discussion - click the discussion title, then post your reply in the box that says "Reply to this".

How to get email notification of new topics and responses to existing topics within this group:
--Under the "Discussion Forum" heading, scroll to the bottom of the discussions and click on the "View All" link.
--This will take you to the "Forum" page for your particular group
--At the bottom right corner of the Forum discussions there will be a little envelope icon with the text "Notify me" next to it. Click that icon!
--You will now be notified of new discussions as well as comments on existing discussions within your group.
--If you wish to stop receiving email notifications – repeat the process above. When you see the envelope this time it will say "Stop Notifying" next to it – click that icon. Presto! No more email notifications.

Heat lamp for 6 1/2 week old chicks?

Do my 6 1/2 week old Amricaunas still need a heat lamp at night if they are outside? I have moved them to a new location and I'm not sure if the extesion cord goes that far, but I will figure something out if they need heat. Thanks.
