We planted one Anna and one Dorsett Golden apple tree in January. The leaves look curly, a little yellow, and generally unhappy right now, and someone suggested adding chelated iron, as there is not enough iron in our soil for apples. I fertilized with the organic fertilizer sold at Tree Day, and I'm wondering if anyone has any advice. Please?
I have read that is not lack of iron so much as it is the PH. If the soil is acidified, then the iron that is present is available to the plants. Coffee grounds works great for this, can't over do it, organic, and free from Starbucks.
Do my 6 1/2 week old Amricaunas still need a heat lamp at night if they are outside? I have moved them to a new location and I'm not sure if the extesion cord goes that far, but I will figure something out if they need heat.
Thanks.

Right on. It took just over a month for that one to grow. So, if it grows at the same pace this time, the next one will be ready sometime around the first week of December.
I just watched this online, www.greenthefilm.com.
