Build your own Rain Barrel with Chip Satterlund
Sunday, July 19th from 9:00 - 11:00 AM
Location: 922 W Pierson, Phoenix, AZ 85013
Requested donation: $10

Convert a 55 gal drum to a rain barrel. "Bring Your Own Barrel" or purchase one with a removable lid at the class ($45). Chip will help you convert it to a water harvester with a tap and overflow. Parts for all barrels will be available the day of class (cost may run $12 to $25.)

**Please RSVP to your right and leave a comment below to indicate if you need a barrel(s) and/or a conversion kit(s) so we know how many to have on hand. If you are not a registered member contact chip@phoenixpermaculture.net.

If you want to bring your own barrel, they may be purchased at most Feed stores in the Valley.

Additional classes are available.

I really thought this was clever too! I would think that Craig's List would have many of these listed pretty cheap. I believe that they had 3 chickens, but this setup could handle quite a bit more, and it looks so darn cute!
